Renting on Praslin without a credit card
Big rental brands need a credit card because their deposit system does — they freeze a security amount against it. Praslin's local owners work differently: no deposit means no card block, which means no credit card requirement.
What you actually need:
- Any bank card (debit is fine) for the small online confirmation when you book.
- The balance at pickup — pay how you like: debit card, or cash in euros or Seychellois rupees; some owners also take US dollars. The accepted options are listed on each car's card.
